Leaving the cold and the snow storms of Massachusetts behind, Cindy moved to Port St. Lucie in 2006 and has not looked back. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Writing/Communications from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and her Master of Education degree from Cambridge College, Cindy taught high school English in Fall River public schools for eight years before joining the Pruitt Campus ASC team where she tutors in English grammar, writing, reading, literature, and TABE and P.E.R.T. remediation. Although Cindy recently re-entered the classroom as a member of the faculty of Morningside Academy where she teaches English in grades 8-12, she continues to include the ASC in her new, busier schedule.
Cindy would spend all of her free time cruising the oceans if she could. A veteran of over twenty cruises, she continues to plan one or two voyages each summer. Her most memorable was a Baltic cruise; a two-day extension of that vacation took her to England and a visit to The Globe Theater. Cindy’s interests also include reading, sewing, and spending time with her son and her daughter and their families. She adores her three grandsons and is excited about now being able to spend holidays, vacations, and summer breaks with them. SUBJECTS TUTORED: English Reading Writing |
